Personality

Bryar is typically a very quiet individual. She is known for her stealth and ability to move without being noticed. Bryar can be short tempered and knows how to throw a harsh insult when necessary. However, she is very loyal to her allies and is willing to fight to the death defending those in need. She prefers to work and travel alone, because people can be burdensome and frustrating, but will make an exception if it benefits her. Despite her standoffish personality, she enjoys many trifles in life such as music and storytelling.

Summary

Bryar is the daughter of Ursine Chief Joriaem who participated in the War on Mount Ursine. She was raised to and always has supported the right of her people to their land, but after Prince Kodey killed and skinned her father she her hatred for the ways of the Watkins intensified. During the war, Stellaluna helped her escape when things took a negative turn for her tribe, and Bryar was very grateful for her kindness. However, since Bryar is the type of person who prefers to travel alone, this companion is sometimes viewed as a burden for her. Bryar loves being in the woods however, and only really finds peace among the trees. She hopes that someday the remanence of her tribe will find a place amongst the Kingdom of House Watkins, or that King James II will be overthrown.
