Alexander Snow and Eskir travel with Krum Cainus, the last surviving and youngest son of House Cainus. They fight their way through the Dreadshores, against the army of the dead. Alexander Snow, unable to defend himself, received a wound from the Others on his arm. Thinking quickly Krum cauterize the wound with his Quicksilver blade and magical fire. Throwing his quicksilver sword to Eskir, Krum provided cover fire for the two rangers to make their way to the Red Keep, where the Prince gathers his banners for war against the rebellion. Taking many wounds, Krum did not survive the attack on the Dreadshore.

After the battle at the Red Keep, the Prince who left to restore the Pines and to mine Quicksilver in the Whitewoods, seeks out a rendezvous with a Spy who was sent to Thymeria around the time of the Dreadshore attacks. With the Prince, Eskir and Alexander Snow. King James, traveling with his King Guard, confronts his brother for the first time since his disappearance from the Valley. The King calls upon the service of the Prince to travel to Thymeria for a diplomatic endeavor with the Solari seeking peace from the conflict between the two countries.

Months Later...

In Thymeria, the festival of the Sun is one of the most anticipated and celebrated festivals. This is the celebration of Agnes Solari being an elected monarch of Thymeria and the rule of the Solari. This festival is where the story began. Travelers from all around Thymeria flooded the city of Lunum to celebrate the return of the Solari from Aspiria months ago. As travelers come into the sovereign state of Lunum, the Guilds seek to recruit more followers. Merchants filled the streets, selling their goods.

After much celebration in the city, the Judges Blaine Solari and Sokael Sahlgren have a council with the Queen of Aspiria, who has joined forces with the House of the Sun, in a hope to overthrow King James of House Watkins. It is in this counsel that Hazel, the follower of Malum Nuntis, is given his orders from Blaine to safely transport a Dwarven girl of great interest to the Judges, to Malum Nuntis last seen in Krow’s Keep. Sokael  Sahlgren refused to allow Blaine to transport Annika alone, and insisted that his half son Kahlis join them. Much conflict came as a result of this choice, Sokael desired for Vormir, the Elven Judge of Anor Haven to watch over the girl. Blaine insisted Malum recieve her.

A destination was not settled among the two Judges, as the Queen grew restless hoping to see her prisoner the Lord Commander Josh Wright beheaded for his crimes against her. By the death of the Lord Commander at the hands of the Solari, her hopes were that the two countries would go to war with one another. Blaine, being hungry for vengeance for the death of his idol A’draak, gave little concern to the consequences of the death of the Lord Commander. Sokael however spoke with the interest of the Judges, seeking to avoid war with the Aspirians. Sahlgren men and Solari men clashed blades as the two Judges swung blow after blow at one another. Hazel’s newly founded party quickly fled the city, avoiding to choose sides.

Moments before the showdown in the courtyard, the Half Orc Kanji-Gar entered into a tavern, where he was confronted by the Elven woman Eliara. Eliara asked to be accompanied by Kanji-Gar through the Darklands to track down one Lord Bracken. It is in this tavern that Kanji-Gar defends the honor of the Elven woman, and met face to face with the Prince of Aspiria who was waiting on a spy from Aspiria. Kanji-Gar warned the Prince to leave the city as soon as he could before it cost him his life.

Blaine swinging his mighty blood drinker blade removed the head of Joshua Wright. In the midst of the commotion, a party of rangers witness the execution of this man. Unable to make his way to the judges who executed his brother, Prince Kodey was stopped by the Solari son Aiden. After a diplomatic endeavor, Aiden refused to allow the Prince to recover his brothers body, out of fear of the consequences from his brother Blaine for letting him go. As Sahlgren men and Solari clashed blades, the three rangers, Prince Kodey, Eskir, and Alexander Snow, continued fight against the odds. After killing Aiden Solari, the Prince and company were taken as prisoners to be seen by Agnes Solari.

Weeks after the Festival of the Sun, Hazel and his party continued south agreeing to meet with Vormir in Anor Haven the city of the Elves. Solari men were in pursuit of the party, a man by the name of Vexus confronted Hazel. Vexus has battled alongside Blaine Solari testing to become a Judge only to be bested by his inability to kill Blaine, who he considered a brother. Vexus planned to take Kahlis and Hazel to Krow’s Keep and sell them as slaves. He was going to take Annika to Lilith Solari by the orders of Blaine. As Vexus was caught off guard Hazel slit his throat along with his men’s throats.

This of course was done in vain, Varis, Vexus’ brother was also in pursuit with more men. The party was taken into captivity and taken to Krows Keep. Annika was treated as the royalty she is, Kahlis and Hazel were bound and thrown in a cell. After finding out that Lilith had not been at Krows Keep, Vexus sought to travel through the Darklands to meet with Malum Nuntis. Vexus sent his captain to escourt Annika and the two prisoners through the Darklands, however the evils of the land quickly started to alter their state of mind. An Orc raiding party lead by Ugbug soon encountered the group, killing the Solari men. After a blood battle with the severely beaten Hazel, he was marked. Ugbug’s Orc’s were defeated by the party, and Annika thinking quickly disguised herself using her Funerary Mask.
