Backstory
Taegen has been sent out with his squadron to begin gathering new data about the outer world and to see where it has gone in the past decades since the last expedition. His particular focus is the sector known as “The Valley” and his has already displaced his squad members to different areas of the massive country in order to gather and link to other teams throughout Aspiria with greater ease.
Taegen can be surmised as a ‘Battle Scholar’, known more for information gathering and deciphering than his combat prowess, but capable with heavy ordinance as a proficiency. Due to this and his many years in the Library of Deruga serving as a Cataloger, he has been selected to fulfill the more dangerous task of also investigating the status of Dominick’s descendants, while still maintaining other information gathering tasks. He has been authorized to aid them where necessary-so long as their direction is not adversarial in nature to his people, the dwarves.
As it stands now, Taegen is only interested in two matters: the acquisition of new technology, magical theories, alchemical development, and the study of clerical power; and the monitoring of the ruling nobility of the Valley and where additional aid is required in order to ensure their position is kept-so long as it does not negatively influence his people.
